Barbecued Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 chops
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    1/4 c. syrup from peaches, pears or pineapple
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/4 c. cider vinegar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Brown pork chops in heavy skillet in hot oil.
    Mix other ingredients and cover pork chops.
    Cover and let simmer for one hour or can be baked, covered, in 350\u00b0 oven for approximately 1 hour.
