Easy Vegetable Soup(Makes 6 Servings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    1 clove minced garlic
    6 c. water
    1 (14 oz.) can whole tomatoes, drained and chopped
    3 c. sliced green cabbage
    1/4 c. sliced celery
    1/2 c. chopped carrot
    5 tsp. instant beef bouillon
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/4 tsp. pepper or less
    1 bay leaf, broken in half
    1/2 c. uncooked ditalini macaroni
Preparation
    In 3-quart saucepan, heat oil.
    Add onion and garlic and saute for 3 to 5 minutes, until onion is tender.
    Add water, tomatoes, cabbage, celery, carrots, instant bouillon, sugar, thyme, pepper and bay leaf.
    Bring to a boil; cover and simmer 30 minutes or until vegetables are crisp, but tender.
    Add macaroni and simmer 10 minutes or until macaroni is tender.
    Remove bay leaf.
