Pudding Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening or 1/2 c. shortening and 1/2 c. butter
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1 c. milk (use 1/2 of milk required on box)
    1 small pkg. regular vanilla pudding (not instant)
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy.
    Cook pudding until thick; cool.
    Add to mixture and beat, adding one spoon at a time.
