Shipwreck - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 medium potatoes, chopped
1/2 c. sliced onions
1 c. celery (optional)
1 lb. hamburger
salt and pepper to taste
1 can red kidney beans
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 c. water
Preparation

Best cooked in cast-iron pot on stove burner.
First brown hamburger in pot.
Add all other ingredients. Mix well.
Add any other seasonings to taste.
Cook until meat and vegetables are done.
Marvelous one pot stew dinner.
Serve with cornbread. Wonderful on stormy cold days.
