Ranch Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 to 8 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (seasoned with salt and pepper)
1 pkg. dry Ranch salad dressing mix
1/2 c. water
2 to 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 (2 oz.) pkg. slivered almonds, sauteed in butter
Preparation

In a large skillet, brown seasoned chicken in butter. Sprinkle dry salad dressing mix over chicken.
Add water and 1 tablespoon of butter.
Cover and simmer until chicken is tender, approximately 30 minutes.
Remove chicken and keep warm.
Reduce sauce to desired consistency.
Pour sauce over chicken and top with almonds.
Serve over rice or noodles.
Yields 6 to 8 servings.
