Coconut-Pecan Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/3 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. evaporated milk
2/3 c. butter or margarine
4 egg yolks, beaten
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 c. flaked coconut
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Combine sugar, flour and salt in a heavy saucepan.
Mix well. Gradually stir in milk.
Add butter and cook over medium heat until butter melts.
Gradually add egg yolks to hot mixture, stirring constantly.
Bring to a boil and cook over medium heat 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add vanilla, coconut and pecans. Stir until frosting is cool and spreading consistency.
