Pecan Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. white sugar
    3 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 stick margarine
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. pecans
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Cook sugar, salt and milk until it boils.
    Add butter and let remain on fire until completely melted.
    Remove from fire and beat until thick.
    Add nuts and vanilla.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper.
    If candy is too thick to handle, reheat to consistency desired.
    Makes 2 dozen.
