Golden Sherbet Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. fresh mint (optional)
    3/4 c. lemon juice (fresh)
    12 oz. can apricot nectar
    6 oz. frozen lime concentrate
    6 oz. frozen orange juice concentrate
    6 oz. can pineapple juice concentrate
    2 qt. ginger ale, chilled
    1 qt. orange sherbet
Preparation
    Combine sugar and mint with two cups of boiling water in a bowl.
    Cool and strain.
    Add lemon juice, apricot nectar, lime juice, orange juice and pineapple juice.
    Mix and chill.
    Add ginger ale and sherbet just before serving.
    Serves 20 to 25.
