Dad'S Best Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 (15 oz.) cans Showboat brand pork and beans
1 small onion, chopped
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1/2 c. ketchup
1/4 c. Hunt's original hickory bold barbecue sauce
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1 Tbsp. bell pepper, chopped
1/2 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
8 thin (1/4-inch) slices Polk's brand pork sausage
2 strips fried bacon (or 1 Tbsp. bacon drippings)

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a 9 x 9-inch square baking pan; mix well.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
Serves 6.
