Hoagie Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, shredded
    1 lb. chipped ham
    1/2 lb. Provolone cheese, sliced
    2 onions, diced
    2 carrots, shredded
    1/2 to 1 pt. mayonnaise
    grated cheese and bacon bits
    sliced tomatoes
Preparation
    Place layer of shredded lettuce in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Top with layer of chipped ham.
    Add layer of cheese.
    Place another layer of lettuce.
    Sprinkle diced onions over this layer.
    Add carrots on top of this layer and spread mayonnaise over carrots.
    Sprinkle grated cheese, then bacon bits over the top.
    Let sit in the refrigerator for 12 hours, then top with tomato slices.
