Sunday Breakfast Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1 c. oats, uncooked
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Pour water over the oats, let stand 20 to 30 minutes.
    Beat margarine then add sugars and beat.
    Blend in vanilla and eggs. Stir in oats.
    Sift together flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Add to creamed mixture.
    Blend well.
    Pour into greased and floured 9-inch square pan.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
