Hot Water Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. white cornmeal
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. oil
1 1/2 c. boiling water
Preparation

Heat cooking oil in an iron skillet.
Mix boiling water and 1/4 cup oil to dry ingredients.
Dip hands in cold water.
Form mixture into pones.
Cook until golden brown on both sides.
