Cinnamoned Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. minced onion
    1/2 c. minced celery
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. catsup or chili sauce
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
    2 Tbsp. each vinegar and lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. Dijon-style mustard
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 tsp. paprika
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
Preparation
    Saute the onions and celery in the butter until soft.
    Add remaining ingredients, stirring well. Simmer slowly, uncovered, for 20 minutes.
    Good served with a roasted whole chicken or cut up fryer, flank steak, spareribs or lamb chops.
    Makes 3 cups sauce.
