Icebox Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 level c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    lard (size of egg) to equal 1/2 c.
    1 egg (unbeaten)
    1 yeast cake
    1 1/4 c. lukewarm water
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in 1 cup lukewarm water (must not be hot water). Sift flour, sugar and salt in mixing bowl.
    Add lump of lard and whole egg.
    Mix together with the yeast water.
    Do not beat.
    Put in a greased pan.
    Cover with oil paper and slide into refrigerator.
    Make out rolls about 2 hours or 2 1/2 hours before needed.
    Cook in oven at 400\u00b0 for about 25 minutes.
