Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 7 large tart cooking apples
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    dash of salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    pastry for 2 crust 9-inch pie
Preparation
    Pare apples and slice thin.
    Combine sugar, flour and spices; mix with apples.
    Line the pie plate with pastry.
    Fill with the apple mixture; dot with 2 tablespoons butter.
    Cover with top crust; sprinkle with sugar for better browning.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
