Mayonnaise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 c. oil
Preparation
    Combine egg, salt, lemon juice and 1/4 cup oil in blender container.
    Blend together until mixture begins to thicken. Blend in remaining 3/4 cup oil, pouring in a thin stream until mixture is thick and smooth, about 2 minutes.
    (Allow slightly longer beating time for rotary or electric beater.)
    Makes about 1 cup.
