Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs (whites separated for top)
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 large Tbsp. flour
    1 c. half and half cream
    2 c. milk
    pinch of salt
    1 baked pie shell
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 rounded Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Cook first 6 ingredients slowly, stirring steadily.
    Set off; add vanilla and butter.
    Pour into baked pie shell.
    Fix whites.
