Potato Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cloves
1 c. raisins
3 Tbsp. or 2 sq. chocolate
1 c. mashed potatoes
2/3 c. milk
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. nuts
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening.
Add eggs.
While beating, stir in mashed potatoes and spices, then add melted chocolate.
Sift flour and baking powder together and stir in nuts and raisins.
Mix with shortening mixture.
Can be baked in loaf pan or layer.
If baked in layers, chop nuts very fine.
Bake at 375\u00b0.
