Black-Eyed Pea Special - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 bacon strips
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. chopped bell pepper
    1/2 bay leaf
    2 celery stalks, sliced
    2 pkg. frozen peas
    1 can tomatoes
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
    Fry bacon in a large skillet.
    Remove and saute onion, bell pepper, bay leaf and celery in drippings until tender.
    Add peas, tomatoes and Worcestershire sauce.
    Cover; simmer about 3 hours. Yields 6 to 8 servings.
