Pecan Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. water
2 c. Marshmallow Creme
flavoring and coloring as desired
1/3 c. vegetable shortening
1 large bag caramels
3 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

In a saucepan, cook sugar, syrup and water to 256\u00b0.
Remove from heat; add Marshmallow Creme.
Do not stir.
Let creme set on the syrup for 10 minutes, stir well and beat.
Add flavoring and coloring as desired.
Beat with mixer at medium speed until mixture will break off when beaters are lifted.
Add shortening. Pour batch out on marble slab (or area that has been cooled with bagged ice), sprinkled with confectioners sugar.
