Apple Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 lb. apples (16 c. applesauce)
    1 c. vinegar
    3 lb. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. ground cloves
    2 Tbsp. powdered cinnamon
Preparation
    Cook apples until soft; press through sieve.
    Combine all ingredients in a pan.
    Put, uncovered, in a 350\u00b0 oven for 3 hours, stirring every hour.
    Ladle into jars and seal.
