Kansas Dirt Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pkg. Oreos
1 stick butter
2 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
3 c. milk
1 pkg. Cool Whip

Preparation

Crush cookies and put half of them in a 9 x 13-inch pan or flower pot.
Mix cream cheese and butter until smooth with mixer. Mix in powdered sugar; fold in Cool Whip.
In separate bowl, mix pudding, milk and vanilla.
Fold in cream cheese mixture and pudding mixture together.
Pour into pan or flower pot on cookie crumbs.
Sprinkle remaining cookie crumbs on top.
Chill or freeze.
May be served chilled or frozen.
In flower pot, may add flowers for decoration.
