Tamale Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. green pepper
    1 can white corn
    1 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
    1/2 c. cornmeal
    1 egg
    water to mix
    cornmeal
Preparation
    Brown ground beef, onion and pepper; drain.
    Mix beef, corn and tomatoes.
    Pour into well-greased 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Mix cornmeal, egg and water to mix.
    Pour this crust over mixture. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Serves 8 to 9 people.
