Butter Cookies(Sviesto Sausainiai) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 lb. cream cheese
2 c. flour
1/2 lb. butter or 1/4 lb. butter and 1/4 lb. margarine

Preparation

Cream butter and cheese; sift in flour.
Mix and chill overnight.
Roll thin; cut into squares.
Fill squares with pureed stewed apricots, prunes or jam.
Bake in 450\u00b0 oven until lightly browned.
Remove from pan; sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
