Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. (6 or 7 medium) yellow squash
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 stick margarine
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 c. grated cheese (I put Marathon, 1 c.)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Prepare squash; boil until tender and drain thoroughly.
    Place squash in medium-sized mixing bowl.
    Add onions, butter, soup, salt, pepper and 1/2 of the cheese.
    Mix well and pour in casserole dish.
    Add remaining cheese and bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
    (I stir all of the cheese into squash.)
