Pineapple-Cheese Salad With Creamy Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon flavored gelatin
    2 c. boiling water
    2 c. cold water
    1 (1 lb. 4 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    6 ripe, medium size bananas, sliced
    crisp salad greens
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over gelatin; add cold water.
    Chill until begins to thicken.
    Drain pineapple; save syrup for topping. Sprinkle cheese into bottom of a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Fold pineapple and bananas into thickened gelatin.
    Spoon over cheese. Chill until firm.
