Larry'S Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1/2 lb. flour
    1/2 gal. milk
    1 qt. minced clams
    1 minced onion
    4 potatoes, diced
Preparation
    Cook together margarine and flour on medium heat for 5 minutes.
    Add milk slowly. Stir constantly.
    In separate pan, cook clams, onion and potatoes until potatoes are tender.
    Mix potato mixture with milk mixture. Add salt and pepper to taste.
