2 c. sifted self-rising flour
1/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
2/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
2 tsp. oregano leaves
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
Prepare dough.
Roll dough to about 1/4-inch thick.
Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, cut dough into narrow strips 1/2-inch wide.
Cut strips into 3-inch sticks. Dip sticks into melted butter and roll in mixture of Parmesan cheese, oregano and garlic salt.
Place on lightly greased baking sheet about 3/4 inches apart.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes about 3 dozen sticks.
