Deerburger Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. (deer) ground meat
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 bell pepper, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 (No. 2) can tomatoes, mashed
1 (No. 2) can water
1 small can tomato sauce
1 c. uncooked rice
2 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
1 c. grated cheese
Preparation

In a deep frying pan, saute onion, bell pepper and celery in small amount of vegetable oil until tender.
Add meat and cook on top of stove until redness is gone. Stir frequently until well mixed. Add tomatoes, water, rice, salt, pepper and tomato sauce. Mix well and let simmer with lid on until rice is tender, about 30 minutes.
Pour into greased casserole dish and bake at 350\u00b0 until light brown. Sprinkle with cheese.
Run back into oven about 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
