Frosted Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (13 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple
2 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon gelatin
1 (7 oz.) bottle ginger ale
1 can cranberry sauce
1 (2 oz.) pkg. dessert topping mix (Dream Whip)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Drain pineapple; add enough water to juice to make 1 cup.
Heat to boil.
Dissolve gelatin in hot liquid.
Cool; gently stir in ginger ale.
Chill until partially set.
Blend pineapple and cranberry sauce; fold into gelatin.
Turn into 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Chill until firm.
Prepare topping per package directions.
Blend in cream cheese.
Spread on gelatin.
Toast pecans in 1 tablespoon butter in 350\u00b0 oven 10 minutes.
Sprinkle over top and chill.
