Tangy Green Bean Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (No. 2) cans French-cut green beans
1 medium onion, cut in rings
8 to 10 strips bacon and bacon drippings
1/2 c. slivered almonds
6 Tbsp. sugar
6 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation

Drain beans and put in 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
Place separated onion rings over beans.
Fry bacon strips and save drippings.
Cut the strips in halves or quarters and lay over onion rings.
Sprinkle almonds over bacon.
