Peppers Stuffed With Macaroni - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 green peppers
    1 c. elbow macaroni
    1/3 c. grated American cheese
    1 c. cooked tomatoes
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Cut a slice from top of each pepper and cook in boiling salted water for 5 minutes.
    Drain.
    Mix remaining ingredients, saving 1/3 of the cheese for topping.
    Fill pepper with mixture, stand upright in pan and sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake in a moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Serves 6.
