Italian Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. chuck roast
    1 garlic clove
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. sweet basil
    1 tsp. parsley
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    2 bay leaves
    1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Roast meat and all ingredients in 350\u00b0 oven for 3 plus hours or until tender.
    Remove meat, cool slightly and shred into cooking broth.
    If more au jus is needed, add partial can of beef broth.
    Serve over French bread.
