Grandma Newton'S Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. milk
    1 qt. fruit
Preparation
    Heat 1 quart of fruit; sweeten to taste.
    Turn oven to 350\u00b0. Melt 1/4 cup margarine in pan until bubbling.
    Mix together in bowl all remaining ingredients.
    Pour batter into bubbling margarine, then pour hot fruit over batter.
    Bake until done, approximately 1/2 hour or until batter is brown.
