Mom Kahn'S Elbows And Chopped Meat - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 small chopped onion
    1/2 bell pepper, chopped
    1 c. elbow macaroni
    2 cans tomato sauce
    2 soup cans water
    1 lb. chopped meat
    spices to taste: salt, pepper, garlic, basil, oregano and grated cheese
Preparation
    Cook and drain elbow macaroni.
    In a pan saute onion and pepper until tender.
    Add and brown meat.
    Add tomatoes, water and spices to taste.
    Bring to a boil, then lower heat.
    Simmer for 1 hour covered.
    Uncover and cook on high to dry out.
    Kidney beans may be added if desired.
