Red Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 slices bacon
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 c. chopped, peeled tomato
    1 c. long grain rice, uncooked
    1 c. finely chopped, cooked ham
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. hot sauce
Preparation
    Cook bacon in a large skillet until crisp; remove bacon reserving 2 tablespoons drippings in skillet.
    Crumble bacon and set aside.
    Cook onion in drippings over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until tender.
    Add bacon, tomato and remaining ingredients.
    Cover and cook over low heat 10 minutes. Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 1-quart baking dish.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
