Lemon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c sugar
    1/3 c cornstarch
    3 egg yolks (slightly beaten)
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c lemon juice
    1 1/2 c water
Preparation
    Combine sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan.
    Stir in water gradually.
    Cook till bubbly and thickened, then cook for 1 minute longer.
    Stir 1/2 the hot mixture into the egg yolks, then put that back in pan with the other 1/2 of hot mixture, cook for 1 minute longer.
    Remove from heat stir until smooth.
    Blend in butter and lemon juice.
    Put in cooked pie shell.
    Cool.
    Put cool whip or meringue on top.
