Date-Nut Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, beaten whole
    1 c. sifted self-rising flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 stick margarine, melted
    1 small pkg. chopped dates
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together and bake in 8 x 8-inch pan for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Remove from pan.
    Cut in strips and roll in powdered sugar while still warm.
