Puffy French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bread
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg
    3/4 c. Bisquick
    syrup
    butter
Preparation
    Combine milk, egg and Bisquick.
    Heat shortening.
    Dip bread into mixture.
    Cook until lightly brown.
    Top with butter and syrup.
