Congo Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter Crisco
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Beat eggs until foamy.
    Add sugar, vanilla and Crisco.
    Beat until creamy.
    Stir in flour 1/2 cup at a time.
    Add pecans. Pour in pan.
    Spread with hands.
    Bake 30 minutes in 350\u00b0
    oven. Cool 15 minutes before cutting.
