Toffee - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. finely chopped nuts
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. chocolate chips
Preparation

Butter square pan 9 x 9 x 2-inch.
Spread nuts in pan.
Heat sugar and butter to boiling, stirring constantly.
Boil for 7 minutes, stirring constantly over medium heat.
Immediately spread mix evenly over nuts in pan.
Sprinkle with chips, cover with foil until chips melt.
Spread over candy.
While hot, cut into squares.
Chill until firm.
