Shortbread(Scotland) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sifted flour
1/2 lb. butter (room temperature)
7/8 c. confectioners sugar
Preparation

After measuring sifted flour, sift sugar.
Mix with flour and sift twice.
Blend flour and sugar mixture with softened butter with hands until butter is absorbed (about 20 minutes).
Roll out about 3/8 to 1/2-inch thick and cut in desired shapes.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet, 20 to 25 minutes, just until edges are light brown (325\u00b0).
