Bar-B-Que - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 to 4 lb. beef or venison
2 stalks celery with leaves, chopped
2 onions
1 large green pepper
1 large can tomato sauce
1 Tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground barbecue spices or 1 Tbsp. barbecue sauce
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. A.1. sauce
1 shake ground hot pepper
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation

Put meat in slow cooker around mid-morning.
Cook slowly several hours, adding water if needed.
Cook until meat starts to pull apart with fork.
Drain off some of the liquid.
In the meantime, saute celery, onions and green pepper in a little butter.
Add remaining ingredients, mix well and simmer.
Add more hot pepper or BBQ sauce to taste.
Then shred meat and mix with sauce and simmer again for about 1 to 2 hours.
Serve on hamburger buns.
