Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine (room temperature)
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Cream margarine, 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs in a mixing bowl on low speed, then on high speed. Scrape bowl. In another bowl, sift the flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt together. Add to mixer and mix until blended. Form dough into tablespoon-size balls. Mix 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon in small bowl. Roll cookie dough balls in cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place cookie dough balls 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake just until firm. Does not need to look brown. Carefully lift onto cooling rack to cool completely. Yields 5 dozen.
