Beef In Wine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef, diced in serving size
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    1/2 c. sherry wine (not cooking wine)
    3/4 to 1 lb. mushrooms (optional)
Preparation
    Use a good cut of beef (not stew meat).
    Dice and mix with remaining ingredients in covered casserole.
    Cook 2 to 2 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0.
    Serve over buttered noodles or rice.
