Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oil
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs, beaten
    3 c. grated carrots
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1 c. currants
Preparation
    Cream oil and sugar.
    Add eggs; mix well.
    Sift dry ingredients; add to egg mixture.
    Beat until smooth.
    Add carrots, nuts and currants.
    Bake in a greased 9 1/2 x 13-inch pan at 300\u00b0 for a little over an hour.
