Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    3 slightly beaten egg yolks
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. flaked coconut
    1 baked 9-inch pastry shell
    1 recipe Meringue
Preparation
    In saucepan, combine sugar, flour and salt.
    Gradually add milk, mixing well.
    Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture thickens and boils.
    Cook 2 minutes more.
    Remove from heat. Stir a small amount of hot mixture into egg yolks; immediately return to hot mixture in saucepan.
    Cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Add butter or margarine, vanilla and coconut.
    Pour into cooled pastry shell.
    Spread with meringue.
    Bake in 350\u00b0
    oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Cool.
