Old Fashion Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. lard or shortening
    1 Tbsp. soda
    about 4 c. flour
    1 c. sorghum
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. ginger
Preparation
    Mix ingredients in order given, using only enough flour to make a good stiff dough that can be handled easily. Roll into very small balls. Place on greased baking sheets. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
