Barbecued Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. country style spareribs
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    1 c. water
    1 c. ketchup
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 tsp. mustard
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Have spareribs cut in serving size pieces.
    Brown slowly in 2 (10-inch) skillets.
    Put in baking pan.
    Pour fat from skillet; melt butter in skillet.
    Add onion; cook until brown.
    Add the next 9 ingredients.
    Simmer for 20 minutes.
    Set oven at 350\u00b0. Pour sauce over ribs.
    Bake, covered, for 1 1/2 hours.
