Sopaipillas - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. evaporated milk
powdered sugar
honey (optional)
Preparation

Sift the flour, baking powder and salt together.
Add the milk.
Knead the dough until it has a rubbery texture.
Roll it out on a lightly floured surface until it is 1/2-inch thick.
Cut in squares.
Fry sopaipillas in deep fat until brown.
They will puff up and cook quickly.
Drain on paper towels.
Dust with powdered sugar or serve plain with honey.
